Main product
Mattress collection and recycling services
Biokom is a Bulgarian company focused on the recycling of used mattresses as part of the development of the circular economy and sustainable waste management. The company was founded by Gena Sabeva, creator of the VIT – The Mattress Exchange franchise brand, and operates through its subsidiary “Rematrak” AD (currently in the process of incorporation).

By mechanically dismantling mattresses into individual material components, Biokom offers a real alternative to landfilling and has already established a recycling facility in the village of Petarch, where mattresses suitable for material recovery are processed. The company also provides logistics — as a paid service or free of charge when a new mattress is purchased through its partner network.

Biokom is a member of the Bulgarian Recycling Association and the European Waste Management Association and has successfully completed a demonstration project for the preparation and recycling of used mattresses. Its long-term ambition is to establish a national model for mattress recycling and position Bulgaria as an example of sustainable management in this waste category.
